The theme of the Congress will be “Coping with Complications”, recognising that Complications place a huge burden on the patient but also on the surgeon and on healthcare resources.
The Congress programme includes high quality plenary sessions and symposia of relevance to established consultants and trainees with a major focus on elective and emergency general surgical care. We look forward to including eponymous lectures from the four Royal Colleges and input from many of our sister Specialty Associations.
